Goldstream Cabins does not offer cabins on a short-term basis; such as daily or weekly, or just for one month or two. Cabins are rented on a long-term, month-to-month basis, on approval of good credit, references check, and payment of fees due prior to move-in. A rental application, credit check, and signed rental contract are required. Details are explained in the rental contract, but in general, tenants are responsible for paying their rent on time, and are responsible for their own utility bills (heating oil, water, electricity, internet, cable, phone etc.). We expect the cabin to be kept clean and in good condition. The first month's rent, deposit, and reimbursement for any heating oil left in the tank is due before moving in. The tenant is responsible for putting the electricity bill in their own name and for arranging and paying for phone and other services if desired. Water pickup is the tenant's responsibility.  A water holding tank for your vehicle as well as a pump and arctic grade hose are available for use free of charge. Easy and inexspensive water pickup is available at the Water Wagon near the Chena Pump Plaza, not far from the university. Illegal activity of any kind (drugs, excessive noise, vandalism, etc.) and other violations of the rental agreement are grounds for immediate eviction. No dogs or cats are allowed, but other pets are allowed on approval.

As tenant, you have certain rights, such as a safe, well-maintained, and secure living space, and a responsive landlord who respects your privacy and addresses your concerns and conducts repairs promptly.

As landlord, I have the right to tenants who pay their rent and bills on time, take care of the property, and conduct themselves as responsible adults.
